The company was established in 2006 with GoMacau.com as its brand. In June 2007, GoMacau.com acquired Macau's Number 1 Website, and relaunched as Macau.com. Macau.com signed a strategic partnership with Viva Macau airlines in December 2006 whereby the two companies committed to jointly promote Macau as a travel destination. In addition, Macau.com and Macau Fisherman's Wharf launched partnership for future co-operation in Macau's event market in November 2007.
